A crocodile game

When I gave a small math assessment before the large number unit, I saw many misconceptions in using symbols to compare large nu,bers.
I invited a toy crocodile to our class to help to teach about comparing numbers.
She showed how she likes to always eat the bigger thing.
As I found out, the students had already met this crocodile's relative last year, and during test they simply had not remebered. Today their brains were mathematically active and they easily compared numbers turning the crocodile mouth into a mathematical symbol
Since we didn't have to spend time on learning this topic, the crocodile taught them a corcodile game instead.
